Who can apply

To be eligible for the Innovation Voucher Program, applicants must be startups or MSMEs that are officially registered and conducting operations exclusively within the state of Tamil Nadu. This geographical criterion ensures the program's direct contribution to the state's economic development and local innovation landscape.

A fundamental requirement is that applicants must be engaged in hardware-based technology sectors. This specific focus aligns with Tamil Nadu's strategic objective to enhance its manufacturing capabilities, promote deep-tech innovation, and build a strong foundation in hardware design and production, areas that typically necessitate specialized support.

Furthermore, applicants must demonstrate a willingness to co-finance a portion of the investment, in accordance with the program's established norms. This co-financing can take various forms, including cash contributions, in-kind resources, or verifiable existing investments, thereby showcasing the applicant's commitment and ownership of their project. Innovation Voucher Program is open to startups at the idea, product and revenue stage working in deeptech electronics robotics and manufacturing industrial. The programme is targeted at startups registered in Tamil Nadu. Applicants should be registered as private limited, llp and partnership.
