Selection process
There is no competitive shortlisting or pitch round here — this is a compliance-driven reimbursement. The steps run as follows:
- Filing: the unit submits its application in Form-A2 to the Directorate of Textiles, along with the original Chartered Accountant certificate prepared as per Annexure-V.
- Compliance review: the Directorate of Textiles examines the application against the scheme's conditions.
- Verification: the review covers eligibility, the four-party agreement, the approval and sanction of the project, and the certification expenditure attested by the Chartered Accountant.
- Disbursement: once the documents are found in order and the guidelines are satisfied, the subsidy is released.
Applications must reach the Directorate within 12 months of the date commercial production began.
