Who can apply
The IIMA Ventures Aerospace & Defence Acceleration Fund targets startups at the pre-seed or seed stage that are actively seeking their initial institutional investment. Applicants must be legally registered in India or be in the active process of incorporation. The program specifically focuses on the Aerospace, Defence, and Space-tech domains, with a strong emphasis on deeptech solutions.
Eligible technology areas include, but are not limited to, autonomy, propulsion systems, artificial intelligence (AI), advanced materials, innovative manufacturing processes, and secure systems. Founding teams are expected to demonstrate a strong commitment to leveraging the provided mentorship and industry networks for scaling their ventures. Furthermore, solutions should possess dual-use potential, exhibit export scalability, and demonstrate a measurable national impact.
Only startups registered as a Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) or a Private Limited Company are eligible to apply. DPIIT startup recognition is not a mandatory requirement for participation in this program.
IIMA Ventures Aerospace & Defence Acceleration Fund is open to startups at the idea and product stage working in space drone defense. It is open to startups registered anywhere in India. Applicants should be registered as llp and private limited.
