Selection process
The selection process for the Idea Grant involves several key stages to identify promising startups. Initially, applications are submitted through the Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) website. These submissions undergo an initial screening phase.
Following the screening, shortlisted teams are invited to present their ideas and detail their proposed fund utilization plans to an Expert Committee. This committee rigorously evaluates each proposal based on several critical factors, including the uniqueness of the idea, its technical feasibility, potential market impact, and the strength and capability of the founding team. Final approval for the grant is granted based on the committee's comprehensive assessment.
