Selection process
- Commission the audit — appoint a qualified energy auditor to assess your tourism unit.
- Get the audit done — have the assessment carried out and collect the completed report along with the invoices.
- Build the application — put together the audit report, the cost details and proof that the payment was made.
- Submit it — file the application with its supporting documents to the relevant department under the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Policy 2019. The application form and submission procedure are set out in the Incentives_Guide.pdf, or can be obtained by contacting the State Tourism Department.
- Verification — the State Tourism Department or a designated nodal agency reviews the audit report, the cost incurred and whether the unit satisfies the scheme's criteria.
- Disbursement — claims that clear the criteria and documentation checks are approved, and the reimbursement is credited to the unit's registered bank account.
