Selection process
- Check the official guidelines. Applicants begin with the guidelines published under the State Food Mission — the Incentives Guide document linked in the program's documents — which set out the forms and the submission channel.
- Submit a project proposal. The application needs a detailed write-up of the upgrade, establishment or modernisation project, including a breakdown of the expected costs.
- Attach supporting documents. Proof of FPI registration, incorporation papers, financial statements, and invoices or quotations for the expenditures being claimed.
- File with the designated department. Submission happens through the State Government's online services route where available, or physically, as the policy directives specify.
- Initial screening. The department first checks the application for completeness and basic eligibility.
