Selection process
Claims are assessed against the requirements of the Himachal Pradesh Industrial Investment Policy 2019. Officials from the Department of Industries, or from the District Industries Centre, begin with a desk review of the papers submitted.
That review confirms three things:
- Whether the applicant is an eligible MSME.
- Whether the money went into plant and machinery that genuinely qualifies as ETP or RWH equipment.
- Whether the financial figures claimed are accurate and supported by proof.
A site visit may follow, to see the installed system and verify that it is actually in place and operational.
Once every condition is met and verified, the sanction decision is taken and the reimbursement is released.
