How to Apply for Himachal DPR Reimbursement — Up to ₹1L for Bonafide Entrepreneurs

Applications are examined by the designated authorities within the Government of Himachal Pradesh. The review is document-driven and verification-heavy rather than competitive.

The assessment does three things. First, it confirms that the applicant genuinely holds Himachal Bonafide Entrepreneur status. Second, it validates the size and nature of the proposed investment against the thresholds set out in the Tourism Policy 2019. Third, it scrutinises the invoices and receipts for the DPR preparation charges, checking that the amount claimed is authentic and reasonable for the work done.

An evaluation committee then checks the application against the eligibility conditions and looks for evidence of genuine intent and significant capital deployment in a Category A area. Only projects that clear this bar are approved, after which the reimbursement is credited to the applicant's bank account.
