Applications are made online through the eKutir portal. Register as a new individual with your name, Aadhaar number, gender, date of birth, mobile number, email and a password, then log in and complete your user profile. From the homepage, select the scheme "Providing Latest Technology to Group of Pottery Artisans (Energy Efficient Kiln)" and work through the application tabs, saving and moving to the next tab as you go. After reviewing your entries and agreeing to the terms, submitting the final tab generates a unique application number — note it down. If your application is sent back for revision, a modify option appears so you can edit and resubmit.

Registration on the portal requires your full name, Aadhaar card number, gender, date of birth, mobile number, email and password. In the application form you must upload the required documents in the specified format and size and enter the corresponding document numbers. Review everything before you submit.

Beneficiaries must use the energy-saving furnace only for the pottery business, follow the institute's policies, and send quarterly reports on how the furnace is being used. Any maintenance or repairs needed after installation are the beneficiary's responsibility.
