Guesstimate Challenge

The Guesstimate Challenge, hosted by Aryabhatta College, University of Delhi, is a competition for undergraduate students across India to test their analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, and business intuition. Participants break down complex real-world problems, make reasonable assumptions, and arrive at defendable estimates—a skill invaluable in today's data-driven world.

The competition has three rounds:

• Round 1: Elimination Round – “Quick Estimate” (Online, 20-30 minutes): 8-10 guesstimate questions testing logical breakdown and approximation. No calculators allowed. Top teams advance.
• Round 2: Semi-Final – “Case Sprint” (Offline in New Delhi): Teams get a short guesstimate case with 15 minutes prep and 3-4 minutes explanation. Speed and structure are key.
• Final Round – “The Ultimate Guesstimate Showdown” (Offline in New Delhi, April 22, 2026): Teams tackle a complex real-world business problem with 20 minutes prep, 5-minute presentation, and 3-minute Q&A. Judged on problem breakdown, creativity, accuracy, and presentation.

Teams of 1-3 members can register by April 19, 2026. Plagiarism and AI use are prohibited. Offline round participants must bring college ID. Prizes include ₹3,000 for first place, ₹2,000 for second place, and certificates for winners.
