Who can apply
The programme is open to individual innovators or early-stage Indian startups with a science or technology-based idea that is at the idea-to-prototype stage. Applicants must be willing to engage with the GIF incubator at NIT Srinagar during the prototype phase. The idea must align with one of these domains: healthcare/MedTech, GreenTech/CleanTech, AI, deep tech, sustainability, emerging technologies, or other science-driven sectors like agri-tech or mobility. While there is no requirement for DPIIT registration, MSME registration is not mandatory. Eligible entity types include private limited companies, LLPs, partnerships, and individuals. Applicants must comply with GIF rules and provide accurate information; any misrepresentation can lead to disqualification or termination of incubation.

It is open to startups registered anywhere in India. Applicants should be registered as private limited, llp and partnership.
