Selection process
Every application received is scrutinised by the Task Force Committee (TFC) set up under the Chief Minister's Rozgar Yojana / Dr. Verghese Kurien Rojgar Yojana scheme. That committee examines the details of each case and recommends the applications that should receive the subsidy.
Where a proposal has already been appraised under CMRY or VKRY, the same Task Force Committee acts as the sanctioning authority, so no second appraisal body is involved.
On the money side, the Directorate of Industries, Trade & Commerce is responsible for arranging the required budget. Once subsidy claims reach it, the department places the funds with the Economic Development Corporation.
