National IP applications can receive up to ₹2,00,000 (₹2 lakh) per application. International IP applications can receive up to ₹5,00,000 (₹5 lakh) per application.
Can I get reimbursement if I received funding for the same IP elsewhere?
No, if you have applied for reimbursement or grant for the same IP under any other scheme (Central or other State Government), your application will be rejected.
How many times can I apply for the same IP?
Reimbursement is one-time per IP application. You cannot submit multiple claims for the same IP application.
What documents are needed for the application?
You need a copy of successful IP registration or filing receipt, original proof of payment (detailed statement, invoices, receipts), a detailed report, address proof of your operational office in Goa, and a cancelled cheque of the startup.
Is there a deadline for applying?
The scheme is rolling, meaning applications are accepted on an ongoing basis with no fixed deadline.
Does the scheme take equity?
No, this is a reimbursement (subsidy) program and does not involve taking any equity stake in your startup.
How much funding does IPR Reimbursement Scheme provide?
