Applications go through a verification and committee-based approval route rather than an automatic payout.

• Once an application is received, the Directorate of Industries, Trade and Commerce (DITC) may raise queries if anything is deficient or missing.
• After the application clears verification, an official is designated to inspect the applicant's entity and check records and documents against the operational guidelines and checklist.
• The inspection report is uploaded within 48 hours.
• The application is then forwarded to the Chief Executive Officer, Goa Investment Promotion and Facilitation Board (Goa-IPB), for due diligence.
• Once Goa-IPB's recommendations come in, DITC prepares an appraisal note for the Incentive Review Committee.
• The Incentive Review Committee deliberates on the application, scrutinises the claim, and sanctions the incentive.
