Selection process
Every application is first examined against a predefined checklist. This scrutiny stage is where the eligibility criteria and documentation requirements are verified, and anything that does not clear the checklist does not move ahead.
Applications that pass scrutiny are then placed before an Empowered Committee, which gives the final approval.
Once the committee has taken a decision, the unit is issued either a Sanction Order or a Regret Letter, depending on the outcome. A sanctioned application then moves to the disbursement of the subsidy.
