Selection process
Every application that reaches the Directorate of Industries, Trade and Commerce is first taken up for scrutiny, and is then placed before a Task Force Committee for its recommendation.
The Task Force Committee includes the Director, Department of Tourism, as a member, alongside the other members laid down under the parent Umbrella Scheme. The committee goes through the application and the documents filed with it to confirm that the unit actually satisfies the scheme's eligibility conditions.
Applications that clear this review are recommended for approval.
