Frequently asked questions
How much prize money does the FlowZint AI Hackathon 2026 offer?
The total cash prize pool is ₹3,00,000, split across the top three places. First prize is ₹1,50,000, second prize is ₹1,00,000 and third prize is ₹50,000. On top of the cash, the top three also receive a verified certificate and 20,000 FlowZint Credits each.
What is the deadline to register and submit my project?
Registration closes on July 18, 2026, which is the date to plan around. The submission window opened on May 8, 2026, the final project submission deadline listed in the schedule is July 19, 2026, and results are announced on July 20, 2026. Late submissions are not accepted, and everything has to go through the official FlowZint submission portal.
Who is eligible to take part in this hackathon?
It is open to all participants, so there is no narrow eligibility filter. Students, developers, AI enthusiasts and early-stage builders are the audiences the organisers call out. You can enter alone or as part of a team of 1 to 4 members, and participants across India can join since the hackathon is entirely online.
Do I need DPIIT recognition, MSME registration or a registered company to apply?
No. There is no DPIIT or MSME requirement mentioned for this hackathon, and no incorporated entity is needed either. Entry is open to individuals and teams, so a solo developer or a group of friends can submit a project without any company paperwork.
What tracks or themes can I submit under?
There are four categories to choose from: Sales Bot, Support Chat Bot, Customer Care Bot and Open Innovation. Your project has to fit within one of these tracks. Typical builds include AI chatbots, automation systems, smart AI tools, customer support solutions, business productivity tools, AI workflow platforms and intelligent assistant systems.
Is the hackathon online or do I need to travel?
It is fully online. You register, build and submit through the official FlowZint submission portal, so there is no travel, no venue and no city restriction for participants based anywhere in India.
How many projects can I or my team submit?
Just one. Each participant or team may submit only a single project, and it must be original — copied work is not allowed — and must not be harmful in any way.
What do teams ranked 4 to 100, and the rest of the participants, receive?
Entries placed between ranks 4 and 100 receive a verified certificate plus 10,000 FlowZint Credits. Every other participant who takes part also gets a verified certificate along with 5,000 FlowZint Credits, so the rewards are not restricted to the cash winners.
Does the hackathon take any equity in my project or startup?
No. This is a competition, and the rewards are cash prizes, verified certificates and FlowZint platform credits rather than an investment. There is no equity stake involved and nothing to give up in return for taking part.
How do I apply for the FlowZint AI Hackathon 2026?
Register and submit your project through the official FlowZint submission portal at https://flowzint.in/2026/ai/hackothon before the July 18, 2026 registration deadline. Build your solution within one of the four tracks, make sure it is an original project, and submit it through that portal only — late submissions will not be accepted.
