How to Apply for Employment Linked Subsidy (EPF) — Up to ₹5 Cr for Maharashtra Units

There is no competitive shortlisting round. A claim is checked against the policy's own criteria, and the deciding number is the Employment Factor.

• Employment Factor assessment: the direct jobs a unit has generated for each ₹1 crore it invested is worked out, and it has to be above 20.
• Document review: investment proofs, provident fund records, employment figures and evidence of the unit's location are examined together.
• Location check: the Group D, D+ or lower-category classification of the site is confirmed against the policy.
• Approval and disbursement: once the Maharashtra State Industries Department or one of its appointed agencies clears the claim, the reimbursement is released in line with the policy guidelines.

Because the scheme has no fixed application window, claims are taken up and assessed as they are received.
