How to Apply for Environment Management Project Subsidy: ₹25L for SC/ST Entrepreneurs

Application submission — the entrepreneur files the proposal through the designated portal or office of the Department of Industries, Government of Chhattisgarh, along with a project proposal, machinery cost estimates and the relevant environmental impact assessments.

Initial scrutiny — departmental officials check the application for completeness and confirm that it meets the basic eligibility conditions.

Detailed evaluation — a selection committee with members drawn from environmental departments, industry and finance reviews the proposal on technological merit, environmental impact, cost-benefit and the applicant's ability to execute the project.

Site visits or presentations — shortlisted applicants may be asked to validate their claims and demonstrate the carbon credit generation or emission reduction potential in person.

Approval and disbursement — approved projects are sanctioned, and the subsidy is paid in tranches or reimbursed against verified machinery purchases under the policy terms.
