How to Apply for UP Employment Generation Subsidy 2022 — ₹3,200 per Worker per Month

This is not a competitive selection where one applicant wins and another loses. It is an eligibility-based assessment: a unit either meets the criteria laid down in the Uttar Pradesh Textile and Garmenting Policy 2022 or it does not.

Applications from Mega and Super Mega Garmenting Units are taken up for screening by the designated government authorities, which are likely to include the Department of Industrial Development together with the relevant textile sector bodies.

The screen checks the unit's classification as Mega or Super Mega, confirms that it sits in one of the non-excluded districts, verifies the cumulative count of sewing machines set up against the 15,000 limit, and examines compliance with the employee formalisation conditions covering EPF, Aadhaar and DBT salary payment.

A unit that clears all of these requirements is approved for the subsidy. Once approved, disbursement is monthly and follows verified employment figures.
