There is no competitive selection, shortlisting or pitch round here. Assessment is documentary and follows a fixed sequence:

• Application submission: The prescribed application form is filed with the designated authority — likely the Department of Industries and Commerce or the relevant district industry centre in Andhra Pradesh.
• Document submission: Supporting papers are enclosed with the form to establish registration, category status, production date and the duty paid.
• Verification and review: Department officials scrutinise the application and its enclosures against the policy conditions to confirm that both the unit and its proprietor satisfy the special category criteria and that all guidelines are met.
• Approval and disbursement: Once the claim is validated and approved, the reimbursement process starts and funds are released in line with the payment schedule and procedures set out in the Textile Policy.
