Coir product manufacturers and participants from production or industrial units are eligible. Both local units and outstation units can exhibit, so a producer does not have to be based in Puducherry to take part. Yes. The scheme is open to both local and outstation units that want to exhibit coir products, so a manufacturer based outside the Union Territory can apply to participate in the exhibitions covered by this component.

You need the prescribed application form duly filled and signed, a passport-sized photograph pasted on it (signed across if required), and self-attested copies of supporting documents such as business registration proof, product details and address proof. It is advisable to carry the originals for verification.

Your application is recorded in an official register and you are given a unique application number as acknowledgement of receipt. Keep that number for all future communication. The Department then screens the application for completeness and eligibility before a selection committee reviews the products proposed for exhibition.
