How to Apply for Chhattisgarh R&D Plant & Machinery Subsidy — 20% Up to ₹3 Crore

How applications are assessed

• Guideline check. Work through Section 16 of the Chhattisgarh Industrial Development Policy 2024-30 for the eligibility conditions, the document list and the procedure to follow.
• Documentation. Assemble the project report, detailed cost estimates for the plant and machinery, the incorporation certificate, GST registration, proof of ownership of the land or facility, and any other forms the Department of Industries prescribes.
• Submission. Apply through the online portal on the Invest Chhattisgarh website, or submit physically at the District Industries Centre (DIC) or the relevant department.
• Scrutiny and verification. A committee at the Department of Industries or the DIC reviews the application, confirms the applicant's eligibility, checks the R&D centre against the stated criteria, and verifies that the plant and machinery has actually been procured and installed. A site visit, a technical evaluation and checks on the applicant's finances may all form part of this stage.
• Approval and disbursement. Once the competent authority sanctions the claim, the subsidy is paid out as reimbursement.
