• The enterprise files its claim with the Department of Industries, Government of Chhattisgarh.
• Officials examine the application, the details of the R&D centre, the type of plant and machinery purchased and the expenditure being claimed.
• The claim is checked against every eligibility condition laid down in the policy.
• A site visit or an expert evaluation may be conducted to confirm that the centre exists, is operational and actually uses the assets purchased.
• Once the claim clears validation, approval is granted and the subsidy — up to ₹3 crore — is released as a reimbursement.
