Selection process
CaseX runs across two stages, and teams have to clear the first to reach the final.
Round 1 — online submission round.
Teams prepare and submit two deliverables: a detailed presentation in PPT format and a comprehensive report in PDF format. Submissions are accepted within the window of April 16 – 18, 2026, and registration must be completed by April 18, 2026. This stage is where judges assess how well a team has analysed the problem statement, organised its argument, and argued its way to a workable solution with clarity and depth.
Round 2 — hybrid final round.
Teams that qualify move to the final, which takes place on April 19, 2026. Each team delivers an 8-minute presentation, which is followed by a 2-minute Q&A with the judges. The final is held offline at the IIEST Shibpur campus, and online participation is available if required.
