How to Apply for AP Technology Upgradation Subsidy — Up to ₹7.5Cr for Textile MSMEs

Applications are screened by a committee that includes officials from the Department of Industries & Commerce, Government of Andhra Pradesh. Assessment moves through the following checkpoints:

• Eligibility verification — the committee confirms that the applicant is an MSME and that the unit is registered and operating in Andhra Pradesh.
• Project appraisal — the proposed upgradation plan is examined for viability and for how well it matches the objectives of the policy.
• FCI calculation — the eligible portion of Fixed Capital Investment is computed, since the subsidy is a fixed share of that figure.
• Due diligence — shortlisted applicants may face additional checks or a site visit.
• Final decision — approval depends on compliance with the scheme guidelines and on the budget available at the time.
• Disbursement — the sanctioned subsidy is then released in tranches.
