Selection process

Applications are assessed by the Department of Industries, Government of Andhra Pradesh. There is no competitive pitch round — the test is eligibility and compliance with the policy.

  • Eligibility screening. The department checks that the applicant qualifies as a medium enterprise under IDP-MSME-EDP-FPP (4.0) 2024-29 and that the claim falls within the terms of the policy.

  • Expense verification. The listing and capital-raising costs submitted are verified against supporting records before anything is approved.

  • Status verification. The enterprise's medium status is confirmed alongside the genuineness of the expenses claimed.

  • Approval and disbursement. Once verification is complete and the file is cleared, the assistance — up to the ₹5 Lakh cap — is released following the policy's standard disbursement procedure.

If something in the application is unclear or inconsistent, the department may ask for further information or clarification before taking a decision.
