Who can apply
The program welcomes startups building scalable, high-impact AI and technology-driven solutions that address the unique challenges faced by women in India. Innovations must positively affect the growth, predictability, and resilience of incomes for low-income women in rural and urban India, particularly in agriculture, allied sectors, micro-entrepreneurship, the gig economy, and the informal economy. Applicants need not be registered at the time of application, but selection depends on formal registration in India. Startups that have attended other accelerators are eligible. Target stages are product and revenue. Permissible entity types include private limited, LLP, partnership, proprietorship, section 8, trust, and society.
Women's Economic Empowerment is open to startups at the product and revenue stage working in ai saas enterprise, edtech social impact and agri food rural. It is open to startups registered anywhere in India. Applicants should be registered as private limited, llp and partnership.
