How to Apply for UP Startup Policy Matching Grant — 50% Fund Match up to ₹5 Crore

Applications are handled by the nodal agency that administers the Uttar Pradesh Startup Policy, or by a selection committee it designates. That body checks each submission against the policy's requirements before any money moves.

Two aspects draw the closest examination:

• The fundraise itself — whether the investment genuinely came from a recognised national or international body or a national mission, and whether the source, amount and date support the match being claimed.
• The operational footprint — for applicants not registered in the state, whether the evidence really demonstrates a production, service or operational unit in Uttar Pradesh carrying out more than 50% of the business's activity.

Once the review concludes, successful applicants are notified and the disbursement process is set in motion on the policy's terms.
