How to Apply for Unstop TA Hackathon — ₹1.5L in Prizes for HR & TA Leaders

The competition runs across two stages.

• Stage 1 — Online submission (July 22 to August 3): register, unlock the case study and send in a 3-minute video pitch by 11:00 AM IST on August 3. The four strongest teams go straight through to the Grand Finale, and results are announced by 5:00 PM IST the same day.
• Stage 2 — Grand Finale (August 6): six teams present live at TechHR India 2026 in Delhi — four from the online round and two wildcard teams picked on site. Each team gets a 5-minute live presentation followed by questions from the jury, while the audience votes live on Unstop alongside the jury's assessment. Two winners are declared: a Jury Winner and an Audience Winner.

Entries are judged on four criteria:

• Problem framing — whether the real hiring bottlenecks and their root causes were identified.
• Solution and feasibility — whether the idea is practical within a real team's budget and constraints.
• Innovation and differentiation — whether the thinking goes beyond the obvious.
• Impact and storytelling — whether the impact is measurable and the pitch memorable.
