How to apply

Applications are submitted on the official portal. Confirm the current deadline and document checklist there before you start.

Selection process

The selection process consists of two rounds:

Round 1: Application & Shortlisting

  • Participants register individually on Unstop and form teams of 2–4 members.
  • Applications require details like GitHub/LinkedIn profiles and technical background.
  • Teams are evaluated based on prior project experience, technical skills, and overall profile.
  • Shortlisted teams are announced and advance to Round 2.

Round 2: 24-Hour Hackathon Finale

  • Held in person on the Scaler School of Technology campus in Bengaluru.
  • Problem statements/themes are released prior to the event.
  • Teams design, build, and iterate on a functional prototype with continuous mentorship.
  • Final deliverables include a working prototype, a GitHub repository submission, and an optional demo/presentation.
  • Teams present their solutions to judges during final evaluation, which considers innovation, technical complexity, feasibility, impact, and presentation quality.
  • Winners are selected based on these criteria and announced at the end of the event.
