Selection process
The selection process for the 2026 International SpaceTech Startup Supporting Program is structured into several distinct phases:
- Online Application: Startups must submit their applications via the TAcc+ international program portal before the deadline of May 31, 2026.
- Preliminary Review: During June 2026, applications undergo a preliminary review. This stage involves endorsement by global partners and an assessment by a Taiwanese judging panel to identify the top 30 finalists.
- Online Pitch Review: At the end of June 2026, the selected finalists participate in an online pitch review. Pitches are evaluated based on the startup's funding stage, MVP maturity, existing global partnerships, and their potential compatibility with Taiwanese industries.
- Finalist Announcement: The top 12 startup finalists are officially announced by mid-July 2026.
- Online Pre-matchmaking: Ahead of the physical visit to Taiwan, online pre-matchmaking sessions are conducted to prepare for in-person connections.
- Taiwan Program Participation: Selected startups participate in the "Startup Supporting in Taiwan" phase, which runs from October 13 to November 9, 2026. This phase includes the orientation, innovation tour, and exhibition components of the program.
