How much funding is available for winners?
Total grant prizes exceed S$2.2 million (≈₹16.34 crore). The Grand Winner receives S$400,000 (≈₹2.97 crore), followed by S$300,000 for 1st runner-up, S$200,000 for 2nd runner-up, and S$80,000 for each of the top 10 global startups. The top 50 also receive a sponsored trip to Singapore.

Who is eligible?
Any technology-based startup from anywhere in the world that is registered for not more than 10 years, has a minimum viable product (MVP), a clear business model, and is not a subsidiary of a larger corporation.
Does SLINGSHOT take equity in exchange for the prizes?
No. The prizes (Startup SG grants) are non-dilutive — you give up no equity or ownership.
Which sectors/industries are covered?
The competition covers five domains: Advanced Computing & Intelligence, Advanced Manufacturing & Industrial Systems, Digital Technologies & Security, Environment Energy & Sustainability, and Health & Biomedical. Applicable sectors range across AI, deep tech, and science-based ventures.
Is DPIIT or MSME registration required?
No. Indian or any nationality startups are welcome without DPIIT or MSME certification.
Where and how do the finals take place?
The physical finals are in Singapore as part of SWITCH 2026, scheduled for 27–29 October 2026. The top 50 get one hosted trip to participate.
What kind of documents do I need to apply?

Can a startup founded more than 10 years ago apply?
