LLPs/partnerships must convert to a company before fund release. The product stage should be prototype/MVP/market-ready, and IP must be owned by IIT Bombay or the startup, or exclusively licensed.

Does the program take equity?

Yes, the funding is provided in the form of equity or equity-linked instruments.

Do I need to incubate at SINE to get the funding?

Selected startups that are not already incubating with SINE must incubate with SINE before the seed fund is disbursed.

Is DPIIT recognition required?

Yes, DPIIT registration is required for eligibility.

What if my startup is an LLP or partnership?

LLPs and partnerships must convert to a private limited company before the fund can be released.
