How to apply

SHITIJ 2.0 – Free 2-Month Virtual Agritech Incubation by ICAR-CIRCOT accepts applications online through the official portal before the Closed (28 Jul 2026) deadline. Follow the steps below — and always confirm the latest details on the official source before you apply.

How to apply

Applications are submitted on the official portal. Confirm the current deadline and document checklist there before you start.

Selection process

Applications are assessed through a rigorous, multi-stage process.

First, all submitted applications undergo an initial screening based on eligibility, innovation potential, and alignment with the focus areas of Farm Mechanisation and Post-Harvest Technology. This review is done by a panel of experts from ICAR-CIRCOT and partner institutions, who evaluate technical feasibility, market potential, and innovativeness.

Shortlisted applicants may then be invited for a virtual presentation or interview. During this round, you present your idea, PoC, prototype, or MVP to a selection committee comprising ICAR scientists, industry experts, and incubator representatives. The committee assesses your team's capabilities, clarity of vision, and commercialisation potential.

Final selections are based on a comprehensive evaluation of all application materials and interview performance, ensuring the chosen cohort is diverse and high-potential.
