Who is eligible to participate in Sanchalan 2026?

What is the team size, and can we team up with students from another college?
Teams must have between 2 and 4 members, and every member has to be from the same institution. Inter-college teams are not permitted. Teams that mix different specialisations within one college are allowed, and a single institution can register more than one team.
How much prize money is on offer?
The first-placed team receives ₹30,000 in cash along with an internship opportunity, and the runners-up receive ₹15,000. Together the prizes add up to a pool of up to ₹45,000.

Do teams from outside Kolkata have to travel for the final round?
Not necessarily. The final round on 10 August 2026 is held offline at the AIMK campus in New Town, Kolkata, but teams travelling from outside the city are allowed to present online.
