No, neither DPIIT recognition nor MSME certificate is mentioned as a prerequisite. A start up already legally incorporated in India is sufficient.
Does Samsung ask for equity or a share of intellectual capital?
No. The grant requires zero equity, and Sam sung will not take any stake in your company or any rights or claims sp über inventors IP. PoC remains your IP.
What kind of projects does the program prefer?
Any technology that is relevant to the mobile ecosystem – including AI, XR, security, health, audio camera, sensor along wearable systems. Hard circuitry and pure software efforts both qualified.
How does the actual selection happened?
Send proposal via email to startup.connect@samsung.com. Samsung's internal jury commits review in month Julio. Founders nominated come in Pitch Day in September. Winner recipients start in October.
