How to Apply for PRASFUTAN - R-ABI Seed Stage Funding for Agriculture Startups

The selection process for PRASFUTAN begins with applicants submitting a comprehensive package. This includes a detailed project proposal, a robust business plan, and thorough financial projections. These documents are submitted through a Google Form. Following the initial submission, selected startups undergo a minimum two-month residency period at an R-ABI incubator. During this time, the R-ABI's Rural Innovation Centre (RIC) conducts an evaluation of the startup's business performance. Based on the RIC's assessment, recommendations are then forwarded to the Regional Committee for further review. The ultimate approval for funding is granted by the Nodal Division, which falls under the Ministry of Agriculture. Upon final approval, the initial installment of the grant funding is disbursed to the startup once a formal legal agreement has been successfully executed.
