Selection process
The heaviest screening happens before the state is involved at all. Once MoFPI sanctions a project under PMKSY Operation Greens – Long Term, the promoter becomes eligible to claim the Andhra Pradesh top-up.
From there, the exercise shifts to verification by the Andhra Pradesh Industries Department. The review covers:
- confirming that the project genuinely holds a valid PMKSY Operation Greens sanction;
- verifying the eligible project cost on which the 15% share is calculated;
- checking that every condition set out in the FPP 4.0 policy is met;
- examining project progress, financial records and compliance with state-level regulations.
Once those checks are cleared and the claim is approved, the grant is released to the recipient in instalments spread over five years.
