How to Apply for Mahila Udyam Nidhi (MUN) — Up to ₹9 Lakh for Women Entrepreneurs in Puducherry

Every application arrives through PIPDIC's online portal, and the first gate is screening for eligibility and completeness.

At that screening stage, the corporation verifies that the applicant is a woman entrepreneur, that the proposal really is a new Small Scale Industrial unit or service activity, and that the project cost stays inside the ₹10,00,000 ceiling.

Applications that clear the screen go into a detailed appraisal. A committee made up of representatives from PIPDIC and the Department of Industries & Commerce, Puducherry, studies how viable the venture is, whether the financial projections hold up, and whether the promoter has the capability to run the business.

Shortlisted applicants may then be called for further discussions or an interview, where they present their business plan and answer the committee's questions. Selection is decided on the overall picture — the paperwork submitted plus that interaction.
