Who can apply
The NUZEN grant is open to aspiring student entrepreneurs enrolled in any recognised academic institution. Applicants must be working on an innovation in agriculture or allied sectors, with their idea currently at the concept or early prototype stage. Solutions in areas such as animal health, veterinary epidemiology, veterinary diagnostics, and general agritech are particularly encouraged given ICAR-NIVEDI's mandate. There is no requirement for company incorporation, prior revenue, or DPIIT/MSME registration. Both individual students and informal teams are welcome to apply.
NUZEN Agri-Startup Grant for Student Innovators – NaaViC (ICAR-NIVEDI) is open to startups at the idea and product stage working in agri food rural and health pharma biotech. It is open to startups registered anywhere in India.
