Who is eligible to apply?
Only Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) where SC/ST entrepreneurs hold more than 51% of the shareholding are eligible. A valid Udyam Registration is mandatory.
What types of testing and certification are covered?
Testing done at NABL or BIS accredited laboratories, as well as labs of any Central/State Department or Public Sector Undertaking, is covered. The scheme also covers licences and certifications from the Bureau of Indian Standards.
Is DPIIT or MSME registration required?
A valid Udyam Registration (which is an MSME registration) is required. DPIIT recognition is not specifically mentioned.
Does the programme take equity?
No, this is a reimbursement scheme — no equity is sought. It is a non-dilutive subsidy.
What documents do I need to submit?
You need to submit self-certified Udyam Registration, GST (if applicable), PAN card, caste certificate of proprietor/all partners/directors, shareholding details, partnership deed/MoA/AoA, payment receipt, system-generated GST invoice, test report (stamped), proof of prior reimbursement (if any), and a cancelled cheque.
