Who is eligible to apply to the Naaripreneur for Her Program?
The programme considers two types of applicants: (1) ventures led by women, working in any product or service sector, and (2) ventures building solutions for women (in health, safety, education, financial independence, livelihood creation, or other female-centric domains). There is no minimum revenue or stage requirement—ideas without any traction are welcome. Entrepreneurs from anywhere in India can apply, and no specific entity type or DPIIT/MSME registration is required.
How much funding is provided?
Equity-free performance-based grants totalling up to ₹5 lakh are distributed among the top 5 startups upon programme completion.
What is the application deadline?
Applications must be submitted by 30 June 2026.
What are the three phases involved?
Phase 1 is a nationwide call for applications. Phase 2 (Pre-Incubation) involves structured online capacity-building for up to 75 shortlisted applicants. Upon completing Phase 2, participants submit a lean canvas and pitch video. Phase 3 (Incubation) offers six months of intensive support, including mentorship, ecosystem access, and an on-campus bootcamp, for up to 25 ventures.
Does the programme take equity?
No. The grants are equity-free, and incubation access does not require giving up ownership.
What support does the incubation phase include?
Incubation-phase participants receive mentorship from IIMV faculty, industry experts, and sector specialists; access to IIMV FIELD's ecosystem and alumni network; and a 2-day on-campus bootcamp focused on AI adoption and fundraising.
What documents or materials are needed to apply?
An initial Google Form application is all that is required. After Phase 2, shortlisted candidates must submit a lean canvas and a pitch video.
How are startups selected for the incubation phase?
Selection is done by the Screening and Evaluation Committee (SCEC) of IIMV FIELD. It is based on the quality of the lean canvas and pitch video submitted at the end of Phase 2, followed by brief interactions.
Who operates and funds the programme?
The programme is run by IIMV FIELD, the innovation and entrepreneurship foundation of IIM Visakhapatnam. It is supported as a CSR initiative by NBCC India Ltd, a Government of India Navratna Public Sector Undertaking.
