Selection process

Round 1 — Online quiz. Teams answer multiple-choice questions that combine case-based scenarios with general technical knowledge. The quiz is taken online and does not allow switching screens or moving back and forth between questions, so answers have to be committed to as you go.

Round 2 — Presentation. Teams shortlisted from the quiz submit a deck of 6 to 8 slides, not counting the title slide and the closing slide. Evaluation rests on three things: whether the root problem has been correctly identified, whether the proposed solutions are innovative and align with Mochatrade's strategic fit, and the overall quality of the presentation.

Across both rounds, submissions must be original. Entries judged to be primarily produced with large language models are not considered.
