What is Ideasprint?
Ideasprint is a one-day startup pitch competition for undergraduate students, organized by NOVA × CSI at MVSR Engineering College, Hyderabad, as part of SAMAVARTHAN 2K26.
Who can apply?
All undergraduate students can apply. You can participate individually or in a team of 1 to 3 members. Inter-college teams are allowed, and you may form a team on the event day.
What is the prize money?
The total cash prize pool is ₹20,000. First place gets ₹10,000 + certificate, second place gets ₹7,000 + certificate, and third place gets ₹3,000.
When and where does the event take place?
Ideasprint is on April 17th, 2026, at Maturi Venkata Subba Rao Engineering College, Hyderabad.
What is the application deadline?
The registration deadline is April 16th, 2026.
How do I register?
First, pay the registration fee of ₹100 per person and sign up on Unstop. Then fill a Private Luma Form to receive an Approval & QR Code, which is sent to your email after manual payment verification. Approvals are processed daily from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Is there a registration fee?
Yes, a ticket price of ₹100 per person is required.
What documents do I need to carry?
All participants must carry a valid college ID.
What criteria are used to judge the pitches?
Ideas are evaluated based on innovation, creativity, feasibility, practicality, business model, scalability, presentation, communication, and problem-solution fit.
Can I participate if I am not from MVSR Engineering College?
Yes, inter-college teams are permitted, so students from other colleges can participate as long as they are undergraduates.
How much funding does Ideasprint provide?
Ideasprint provides ₹20,000 (up to) as competition. Always confirm the exact amount and any conditions on the official site, as figures can change between cohorts.
Does Ideasprint take equity?
No. Ideasprint is competition and is non-dilutive — the provider does not take an equity stake in your startup.
