How to apply

Applications are submitted on the official portal. Confirm the current deadline and document checklist there before you start.

Selection process

Round 1 (Online): Teams submit a proposal via a PPT (maximum 8 slides) outlining their project idea, problem statement, and proposed solution. Submissions are accepted from July 27 to August 30, 2026. Shortlisted teams develop a working prototype. Results are announced on September 5, 2026.

Round 2 (Offline at RIT): The top 25 teams present their projects to judges. Each team gets 5 minutes for demo and Q&A. The offline event runs from September 18–19, 2026.

Judging criteria:

  • Innovation (30%): Originality and creativity of the idea.
  • Functionality (30%): How well the prototype works and addresses the problem.
  • Technical Complexity (30%): Depth and sophistication of the solution.
  • Presentation (10%): Clarity and effectiveness of the demo or pitch.
