How to Apply for Gujarat Textile Policy — SHG Job Work Assistance, Up to ₹78.75L

Assessment here is a verification exercise rather than a competition — there are no pitch rounds or shortlists.

• Scrutiny and registration. The application, in the prescribed format and accompanied by the required documents, goes to the Industries Commissioner. This filing must be made within one year of loan disbursement, production start or the policy's operative date of 1 October 2024, whichever is later. Once the papers are scrutinised and verified, a registration certificate is issued by the Industrial Commissioner.
• Provisional or final eligibility certificate. Which authority handles this depends on the applicant's category. MSME units with GFCI up to ₹10 crore apply to the General Manager, District Industries Centre, after their Date of Commercial Production. MSME units with GFCI above ₹10 crore and up to ₹50 crore apply to the MSME Commissioner, within 1 year of the Date of Commercial Production or 1 year from the Government Resolution date, whichever is later. Units other than MSMEs apply to the Industries Commissioner, within 1 year of the Date of Commercial Production or 1 year from the registration certificate date, whichever is later.
• Each of these authorities reviews the application for full compliance with the policy's detailed guidelines and criteria before the certificate is granted.
