Goldman Sachs, through its 10,000 Women initiative, runs a Fellowship programme in India delivered in partnership with IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, and IIM Lucknow. The programme provides fully-funded business education—covering all tuition costs—to established women entrepreneurs who have achieved a minimum annual turnover of ₹30 lakhs. Since its launch in 2008, the India edition has supported over 4,100 women-led businesses.

Participants attend three intensive in-person residential modules totalling more than 100 hours of learning, focusing on entrepreneurial leadership, growth strategies, innovation, marketing, financial management, operations, and team building. The curriculum is complemented by personalised mentorship from industry leaders, investors, and experienced entrepreneurs. The Fellowship also offers lifelong access to a global alumni network and a free supplementary online Coursera curriculum.

The programme does not provide cash grants or take equity—it is purely an educational Fellowship. Travel, lodging, and other personal expenses incurred to attend the modules are the participant's responsibility.

The programme is open to established women entrepreneurs who are the primary decision-makers and owners or co-owners of their businesses. The business must have been operational for at least one year, have an annual turnover exceeding ₹30 lakhs, and employ a minimum of three people on payroll. Entrepreneurs from all industries and sectors across India may apply. Previous graduates of any Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women programme are not eligible.
