What kind of projects are funded?
Projects should focus on Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, or interdisciplinary applications that integrate AI/CS with fields such as Mechanical, Chemical, IoT, or Defence.
Does the program take equity?
The initial grant of up to ₹6L is non-dilutive (no equity taken). However, after prototype development, teams may pitch for additional donor-backed seed funding, which could be offered in exchange for equity.
How is the funding disbursed?
Funding is disbursed quarterly, based on satisfactory progress evaluated at each quarter.
How many teams are selected?
Two teams are selected per cohort.
What happens after the prototype is developed?
Once the prototype is ready, teams in their 7th–8th semesters can incorporate their startup and apply for further grants. They may also receive an exclusive pitch opportunity for donor-backed seed funding against equity.
