How much funding is offered through the Entrepreneurship World Cup 2026?

The total prize pool is $1,000,000 in equity-free cash. Idea Stage winners receive ₹20,000–$30,000, Early Stage winners receive $50,000–$200,000, Growth Stage winners receive $100,000–$160,000, and four AI sub-track winners each receive $50,000.

What is the application deadline?

Applications close on May 31, 2026. The application window opens in November 2025.

Who is eligible to apply?

The competition is open to founders globally, including India, at any stage: Idea (concept/prototype), Early (product with revenue), or Growth (scaling). There are no restrictions on legal entity type, and pre-incorporation teams can apply in the Idea track.

Is there a sector focus or industry restriction?

There is no general industry restriction. However, dedicated AI sub-tracks are available for startups in AI infrastructure, smart manufacturing, energy and sustainability, or gaming and immersive tech.

Are there any state or regional eligibility requirements for Indian founders?

No, Indian founders from any state are eligible. The competition is global with national qualifiers in over 191 countries.

Do I need DPIIT or MSME registration to apply?

No, DPIIT or MSME registration is not required. Pre-incorporation founders are welcome.

Does the program take equity?

No, all prizes are equity-free cash. The program is a competition, not an investment fund.

What documents are typically needed for the application?

What is the selection process and timeline?

Applications are accepted until May 31, 2026. National judging follows. The top 250 globally enter a virtual bootcamp in July 2026, then top 100 become finalists. The 12 winners are announced at the Global Finals in Riyadh in September 2026.
